Micro Mosaic Box W/ 4 Scenes Vatican, 1880

Micro Mosaic Rome Souvenir Box from the Grand Tour. 4 scenes which include the Vatican on the lid at 1 1/4 by 1 3/4 inches, The Coliseum on the box center at 3/4 by 2 inches, the Parthenon at 3/4 by 1 1/4 inches and the Form at 1 1/2 by 3/4 inches . Roma is on the back of the box. Most probably a very good quality brass with an overlay decoration and sets upon 4 ball feet. A real Show Stopper for any Micro Mosaic Collection.

I see only a small area on the lid at the very bottom of the Vatican where it looks like the columns were not filled in to the bottom. All tesserae are present and no signs of any restroration.
