This is an outstanding pair of large Japanese porcelain vases that were fitted as lamps in the mid 20th c. The porcelain is in excellent condition; the lamps have been newly rewired and fitted with custom lucite bases. The black porcelain is painted in gold with scenes of birds and cherry blossoms on rock work. The pair would highlight any room design from 18th c. to modern. Sold as a pair.
