Miniature Box Porcelain Enamel

Rare 19th century enameled miniature box .The detail is most exceptional, so fine is the detail in micro miniature The color is the most fabulous shade of Napoleonic powder blue with tiny gold stars. On the lid is the central subject of a bird & surrounding the bird is a circular row of individually bead set pearls. There are two small damage spots on the box, one spot is on the back under the hinge& the other one is to the left of the central latch under the lid. They are very hard to see & this little beauty is so rare & valuable that it is worthy of restoration. It measures only 5/8” in diameter X 1” high.
