Miniature Hand Painted Portrait on Ivory encased in a beautiful rich Tortoise Shell Frame. Circa 1800s. The portrait is named Marie Ann ole Bourbon. The tortoiseshell frame has a bronze inlay that has the deep patina of time. Paper backing remains in excellent condition. The tortoise shell frame has lifting which is to be expected for its age.
