	A wonderful miniature oil painted portrait on ivory of Napoleon in his later years. It is signed at 7 o’clock AH Smith in very fine script. The art work is extremely well defined and detailed. This is the original frame in gilt bronze. These frames usually had a backing with an easel type stand – which is gone. This is just the outside of the frame with the portrait mounted. The frame is in excellent condition other then of course the back part – which is not a problem – I think it would be easy to restore that, put a back on it and a little easel. The painting itself is in excellent condition as well.
	Measurements: Overall it measures 5 5/8" x 3 ¾" and the sight size is 2 ¾" x 2 1/8".
