Native American Indian Hopi Pottery Vessel

A Native American Hopi Indian Pottery Vessel with colors and design of black on a background of yellow slip.. Hopi Pottery, one of the oldest and most widely collected of all the Native American Indian pottery styles. It is descended from Native American pottery made in the area for over a thousand years. It has a clearly defined look marked reworked ancient Ancestral Puebloan and Sinaguan designs on polished, unslipped, yellow vessels. The condition is excellent, nice heavy weight.
