	A super nice Nautical Compass .This is a floating compass in a carrying case with attached oil lamp .The box is mahogany with a great rich & mellow surface patina.The compass is a floating compass & it is made by the Kelvin White Company of Boston. The attached brass oil lamp is to allow light to shine in to illuminate the compass ,but you probably already know all that !This compass measures overall 13 ½” high x 11” wide x 12 ½” deep. It weighs 31 pounds. The compass is in good working order & the box is in excellent condition.
