French Faience Urn, 18th Century, Niderviller

French Faience, pate tendre, at its finest. From the small faiencerie of Niderviller, Lorraine, founded by Baron Jean Louis Beyerele, in 1754. The vase is delicately hand painted in rare 18th century pigments without outlines.  Many species of flowers surround the urn and barbotine figural rams head handles and reticulated edge are further enhancements.  Unsigned.
