Oak Chamber Stand With Marble Top

19th century chamber stand , made of oak in a very architectural form. The base of this stand has four attached columns & a front door that is very narrow ,inside there obviously was a shelf , which is no longer there. Around the top of the stand on three sides are carved * applied deep rosettes .All except two of the rosettes are in perfect condition, the two have some minor chips off but you seriously cant see them unless you inspect it close up. This stand has a white marble top with rich gray veining ,the top overhangs quite nicely adding tremendous dimension to this stand. The marble top is in good condition having only one chip off the lower side toward the base of the marble. The surface patina & color of the oak is rich & lustrous, I just had a nice deep French polish put on it & wow! It is completely sturdy & tight & can hold the heaviest bronze that you wish to display on it .Measuring 34” high, the marble top is 16”square, the bottom base is 13 ½” square.
