	Oil On Vellum St. John Miniature Painting 18c Fine Art: Religous: Old Master
	Important & Rare-Louis XIV period (17th-18th century), French oil on vellum miniature depicting saints of the church. In a geometric shape; possibly part of a larger piece of art. The center roundel depicts St. John the apostle, on the upper section other saints. Mounted at a later date on a gilded background and framed in a bronze filigree frame. Measures 4 1/4" by 3 3/8" (including the frame). In excellent condition with no damage or loss to the art, under glass. No signature found, not inspected out of frame. One of two we're offering.
