	Exceptional lyrical French landscape, a romantic painting, featuring a couple on a river bank, a boat and a lovely pastoral scene, a child in the foreground.The painting is framed in an exceptional 19th century gold leafed and gessoed frame. AGE: Probably 18th Century. SMALL SIZE: 9" high by 10 1/2" wide w/o frame. CONDITION: EXCELLENT,TWO CORNERS OF THE FRAME NEED LITTLE REPAIR. Probably 18th Century French Oil on Canvas in great state! Depicted is a French countryside, with a castle on the hill, a couple on a river bank below, boat on the river and a woman with child in the foreground. A fine piece of antique art in typical French romantic style. Many woderful colors, excellent detail, masterfully painted - signature is very hard to make out, but undoubtedly done by a known artist! The frame is 4" wide, has some chipping in 2 corners.
