	Still Life Oil Painting on Canvas, Artist Initials LW on lower right. This painting is housed in a great frame. One of the things that I love most about being in the antiques business in Maine is that out of the small estate sales in these early houses treasures like these surfaceOk back to the painting This country still life in the most naturalistic colors & exceptional detail of oranges in a pottery bowl. So simple & wonderfull.It frame is excellent as well & adds to much drama to the painting. Carved soft wood & gold gilt with a delicate beaded molding. The artist initials on the lower right of LW & underneath hidden by the frame are the remnants of a date ,all that I can actually make out is 19-Obviousley dating from the early 1900’s even though it looks much earlier.
