	an incredible piece of art! The painting is remarkable not only in affecting mood but the colors, flow, and dimension give an ambiance that is hard to verbalize. The frame is very complementary in a rococo style that is carved wood gesso and gold gilt. It is so incredibly complimentary to the painting that it takes my breath away! It is signed Henry T. Harvey. Henry T Harvey is a listed artist though there is very little written about him – all I was able to uncover is that he was born in 1908 and that he was British. It surprises me to find so little on this artist due to the grand work done in this painting – his ability and his eye for integrity and beauty are unsurpassable. The reverse is stamped with a copyright notice and the title is listed on the stretcher “The Old Cottage” along with the number 6943 and again the artists’ name HT Harvey. The condition of the painting is perfect! There are no restorations…there was a piece of cardboard on the back that I took off to inspected the canvas which is perfect. There is a piece missing on the lower right hand corner of the frame that measures approximately 2 ½” long. I absolutely love this painting and I can’t think of a room that it wouldn’t look perfect in. As I said before it is an incredible piece of art!
