Brass Plated Planter with Ancient Greek Ornamentation of Dolphins Riding a Sea Serpent – Good Antique Condition – Minor Dents and Loss of Plating– Circa 1900

This unusual brass planter has cast brass reticulated handles depicting symbols from Ancient Greece of a dolphin riding upon a sea serpent’s back.  The rim of the planter has an incised fretwork band and the front of the planter has repeated the ornamentation from the handles in applied reticulated brass.
