Beautiful painting in a stunning frame that is very finely detailed. Incredible work. A woman on the bench being courted by a French officer of the Chasseurs a Cheval of Napoleon I's Imperial Guard. Signed J. Marcoux. Circa 1850. Extremely heavy frame. Oil on board. Excellent condition painting.
Measurements: Aproximate size 24" by 16" image size frame about 36" by 28".
