	Superb and rare matching pair of 18th C Georgian Beaded Face screens. On 20 1/2 inch standards. Used by the ladies of the time , as they would set near the fireplace. Since their make up was wax based, these would deter the makeup from melting. Green velvet background in a shield design with beaded display of floral and decoration. Gold silk tassels complement the pieces. A netting material on the verso. Gold gilt metal standards and base.One end finial is missing. Overall in lovely condition with no missing beads. They display brilliantly on a fireplace or side table
