Here is a rare and splendid pair of Armoires made from solid beech wood by the end of the reign of Napoleon III during the second half of the 19th century and originally coming from Paris. Each is boasting a breathtaking embellishment consisting of acanthus and floral patterns from the pierced carved cartouche highlighted with gold leaf upon the elegant façade featuring several oil paintings inspired from Francois Boucher ( A famous French painter of the XVIIIth century 1703-1770) to the intricate pediment below. Each of them is providing a single door mounted with its original and intricately beveled mirror revealing a large storage compartment with straight bar as hanger and a bottom interior drawer. Note that we do have the small leaf missing on one of the cartouche. This pair is in overall good condition, the repair of the cartouche is included in the price.
