This is an adorable pair of side chairs made from solid walnut by the end of the 19th century featuring an exquisite embellishment depicting detailed twisted ribbon patterns from the shield-shaped seatback to the apron supported by fluted legs. Both are covered by colorful needlepoint estimated to be 10 years old and in fair condition. This pair is in overall good condition and for sale as is. Circa date 1890. Dimensions 32”high/ 16”seat height/ 20”wide/ 18”deep. This item is currently located in France.
