	A very elegant pair of armchairs commonly called “Bergeres” by the French made from a nicely patinaed walnut by the second half of the 19th century. Each with a lovely embellished frame adorned with twisted ribbon motif and mounted with an adorable floral crest, surrounding the floral upholstery, which is in original condition and needs to be replaced. The pediment consists of 4 turned fluted legs. Circa date 1880. Dimensions 42”high/ 18”seat height/ 25”wide/ 22”deep.
