An adorable pair of gilded side chairs made from beech wood during the reign of Napoleon III. Each featuring a nicely embellished seatback accented with tied and twisted ribbon and a lovely harp flanked by fluted columns upon the serpentine-shaped seat covered by bluish upholstery supported by 4 fluted legs. Note that the fabric is not original and estimated to be 10 years old, it is in used condition. This pair is in overall good condition, a few chips can be seen here and there due to the age. Circa date 1870. Dimensions 36”high/ 19”seat height/ 16”wide/ 16”deep.This item is currently located in France.
