	A Most Beautiful Pair of Lidded Vases in Ormolu fitted Stands and Rims, Circa 1840 to 1845, Made by Sevres Porcelain of France. This Exceptional Pair of Vases are decorated with a pale Green speckled ground called 'fond Taillandier' in the 18th century archives but also commonly referred to as 'oeil-de-perdrix' ground. This example is very prettily painted with rose heads within the circular reserves. Highlighted by lightly and applied and Elegant Gilt Work. In Excellent Condition.
