Pair Of Egyptian Sphinx Stone Garden Sculptures

Great garden statuary Matching pair of Sphinx Sculptures,. Made of a cast stone with very fine detail. They are quite heavy & as you can see they are in the as found condition with remnants of old paint .They are just screaming of antiquity. They have the foundry mark of “A Silvestri” 1956 The condition is good all except for one of the Sphinx; he has a bit of deterioration going on at both paws. This can be easily repaired. Measuring 28” long x 18” high x 8 ½” wide.
