A Pair of French, Six Arm Crystal Girondoles – Mixed Metal Base with Verdigris Finish – European Wiring – Re-Editions – 20th Century-France

This pair of classic French six arm crystal girandoles has eight graceful strings of octagonally pointed beads cascading down from a conopy of eight curved and cast metal arms carrying the same festoons of beads.  There is another group of curved metal arms at the center from which crystal beads and drops fall.  At the bottom level is another group of curved and cast metal arms carrying three separate strings of beads festooning in between each arm.  At their top is a six sides finial, narrower at the top, attached to a central baluster stem of moulded crystal.  The moulded crystal bobeches have scalloped borders and incised curving lines.  The mixed metal round bases have a patinated verdigris finish.

This sparkling pair of French crystal girandoles will bring beauty anywhere they are placed.
