| A Most magnificent Pair of Painted Vase, Circa 1790 to 1800, by Paris Porcelain of France. Decorated with scenes and portraits reminiscent of Early Dutch Painting. Each vase showing a woman standing behind a man, in pursuit of a vice, such as drinking and tobacco, and with interesting, almost grimacing expressions on their faces. Beautiful Violet colored backs with exceptional gilt work. The handles are accented with a Classical Mask in the Coins, similar to an Apollo's mask. In Excellent Antique Condition, with only slight rubbing to the gilt, hardly noticeable unless inspected at close quarters. Would Easily retail in any fine shop for $6,250 and up.
