	Portrait Miniature On Ivory Fine Art: Paintings and Works on Paper: Early 19th Century
	This lovely early 19th C portrait miniature depicts a woman in classical dress, with one breast exposed, and bunches of pink roses in her hair, bodice and lap. She has been painted in plein air, with a classical column to one side and distant trees in the background. Her dress indicates her to have been painted c. 1810-1820. The small gilt metal oval frame has a bow detail at the top. Fine brushwork. Signed: "Nonveul" Good condition
