I was in a Prada boutique when they received a shipment. Three of these bags came in. Within 15 minutes, all three were sold. That was in August. After I inquired, I was told they had received 2 more since then and sold both immediately. Why they have made so few, I do not know. But I have never seen them listed on the Fine Dept Store websites or found this bag in the stores. I actually purchased this for my personal use but I'm afraid that issues with my back made this purchase a bit of an impulse buy and not practical. In itself, the bag is surprisingly not that heavy. But loaded up with items, as in any bag, weight is added and it was a little too much for me. I carried it once to a Pixar Animation Studios event (so it has even greater history!) and have not carried it since. This bag is in new condition. Absolutely nothing happened to it in the one time I carried it. The leather is perfect, the interior is perfect, and I did not use the shoulder strap at all. This tote snaps at the top and is very deep. There are snaps on the sides if you need to expand the bag even more.
