	Primitive Antique Bail Handled Pantry Box Antiques: Fine Treen
	19c medium size bail handled oak pantry box that we found in Eastern PA. This pantry box has copper nails which was used for the older pantry boxes. The box has a beautiful bare oak wood grain with a hint of green paint in the grain. The uses were for storage of kitchen staples like beans, rice, flour, sugar and salt. A colonial woman also used pantry boxes for keeping buttons, gloves, letters and trinkets. Add storage space and decorate at the same time with a beautiful stack of pantry boxes. It is in excellent shape especially for its age.
