	Primitive Cutting Board - Hand Painted Fruit Antiques: Primitive-Folk Art
	Large Early Cutting board measuring approximately 24" long including the handle. The base of the board is approximately 19.1/2" in length X 13 3/4 " wide and is slightly under 1" in thickness. The board was hand carved from one piece of very heavy and dense hardwood, and has a stable age crack held in check by the old metal strap at the bottom and remains solid. The wood has the wonderful color of molasses and shows much wear from age and use. The colorful hand painted fruit was added after its usefulness and makes this a beautiful primitive kitchen decorative item.
