Rare 1920s Fortuny Museum Cloth With Climbing Leaf Motif

A 1920's Fortuny with a brick red ground applied with an interlaced climbing leaf motif, intertwining chestnut branches, taken from a 15th century Italian renaissance design in an olive green. The fabric is tightly woven cotton twill. Backed in copper colored silk velvet, edged with a bronze colored metal cord from Germany.    (2 available)
