A RARE 19th C Victorian Boy's Dress Ensemble. Very "Little Lord Fauntleroy" style and a perfect Ring Bearer's outfit. ~Made of white cotton pique...the top is a slightly smaller weave than the bottoms. ~The pants are the typical cut for the period with slightly pleated waist and side pockets. ~The waistband comes to a "v" in the middle. ~There are button-holes on the waistband which may have been for a vest, or blouse, or possibly some sort of belt. I have added the gross grain ribbon as it is a nice finish for these pants. There is room for a lot of creativity there (you could have a vest made, or a shirt with buttons added etc). ~The lace jabot at the neck is available separately. CONDITION: : Excellent. It has one repair (on the lower back side of a pant leg). (See photo). There are a few subtle spots (also see photo...these may come out if soaked longer..although I cannot guarantee this). The front of the jacket on one side had a tiny bit of damage so it has been rolled in slightly to cover this up. This is not even remotely noticeable SIZE: It is always best to use measurements of your child with the garment measurements. We are a phone or email away, and are always happy to help with this.
