Ovoid Redware pottery jug or milk pitcher. A very interesting decor with a deep rich orange with green and black, maganese throughout. Incised rings around the rim, neck, and base. This redware jug has a hand applied handle, glaze continues to the bottom but as expected with redware of this age, the bottom is unglazed and blackened from use. Condition: there are chips at the rim otherwise a solid redware piece. Does not take away from a beautiful display.
