This bag is an authentic REVIVALS design. REVIVALS was a New York Company that began in the early 1980's. The-Owner/Designer had collected ANTIQUE Jewelled Handbag Frames that date anywhere between 1880 - 1940's. She has taken these fabulously Jewelled Frames & Clasps and created a COUTURE line of ONE-OF-A-KIND evening bags These spectacular designs are not evocative of VINTAGE pieces, they are, in fact, CONSTRUCTED of ORIGINAL HEIRLOOM hardware. Each purse wass created using the very finest of materials and hand-crafting. The-Ornamented Framework is what inspires the fabrication of each Antique Gem. Her Collection is ART-TO-WEAR, skillfully articulated design made with precise professional craftsmanship.

 

The Body of the Purse is constructed of Jet Black Lizard Fabric It features a matching Slender Black Lizard Shoulder Strap. The frame c. 1910, is silver Art Nouveau Design with Figurals of a Face Flanked by Dragons on Both Front and Back of the purse The clasp are two "push-pull" knobs with a center closure

 

 

REVIVALS bags feature both Crystal and Semi-Precious stones. This one features all Art Nouveau Silver The closure has a good "snap" and is very secure. You can see that this was Hand-Assembled.
