Royal Worcester Porcelain Dinner Plates Set 14

Hand painted porcelain Royal Worcester plates with white center portion and a wide rim decorated with scrolling foliage, cornucopias of fruits, and three medallions containing images of different instruments. Each is marked on the underside with the crown and circle mark, "Royal Worcester Made In England" and hand painted with the decorator's identification numbers and impressed numerals and letters under the glaze, "WA 4G1". The colors are aqua, green, blue, red and yellow. The outermost rim is a butterscotch color line. The saturation of the colors varies from plate to plate due to the hand-done nature of the glazing. Condition: Some of the plates vary slightly in the color of the background glaze on the decorated rim from bright white to ivory. They have very light utensil scars and may have been actually used only once. There are a few minor firing flaws upon close inspection, and the outer butterscotch color rims of five have a few tiny flea-bit chips. Overall in very good condition.
