Wonderful 1930's Paris Street painting, an oil on board of the neighborhood of Montmarte and the lovely Sacre Coeur Church. The shops are still there on the left and right... I was in them last year. However, this painting far surpasses what the vendors are turning out today and nothing can match the charm and naieve innocent quality of this delightful impressionist work. This senic vignette will bring back all your memories of your trip to Paris. Signed by the artist R. Arari lower right, framed in a nice quality period solid oak frame.
An interesting note...I found the painting in Medina, Ohio. The clerk told me it was of a "Turkish Mosque in Istanbul"
