Sevres, 18th Century Figurines, Signed,

An unusually early and immaculate pair of very tall  18 Inch VIEUX (old)  SEVRES FIGURINES,   The color palette is  rich nutmeg and umber  tones, most rare in SEVRES dating to the Vincennes period of 1740, LOUIS XV.

The couple is dressed in literally "Country French" attire such as nobles might have worn when dressing down.

The SEVRES marks here are of the earliest manufacturing period with the dot between the Double L.  It is likely that the figurines were a special presentation or gift to a favored member of the Court.
