A spectacular pair of porcelain Sevres urns with bronze mounts of incredible quality. Held in the highest regard among monarchs, emperors and cardinals, the beauty of Sevres porcelain is infinite and enduring. The ewers are in magnificent palette of blue green, each depicting hand-painted mirrored scene in the center of each on both the front and back. On one side the ewers depict vividly colored birds while on the other side depicts still life flower paintings. Each painting is bordered and highlighted by raised enamel. Perfect for display on a mantle or buffet, each measures 11 1/4" in height, widest 4 1/2". Each in excellent, no chips, cracks or enamel loss.
