Silver filigree encircled Medallion of The Holy Mother and Child. This piece is marked 1000 for Silver content on the left side of Mary. There is part of the gilt remaining on the Medallion. There are a few area's of bending to the silver filigree; but in my opinion, that is not detrimental to the piece. This item dated from the 1880's. I believe it to be Greek in Nature. It has a lope at the top; I believe that it could possibly have been worn on a necklace.
