	Staffordshire England Porcelain Figural Group Porcelain, Pottery: Porcelain
	Rare Staffordshire Figural Group. Clothes to the surrounding flowers is intricate, delicate, detailed and vividly colorful. This hand painted piece also has applied florals surrounding their feet and their laps. The makers mark on the bottom is in blue under glaze and can be found in the Kovels New Dictionary of Marks on page 131 – John Bevington Staffordshire England. The piece is incredibly comforting with them casually sitting on a fallen log. There is gold enameling embracing the swooshing design below their feet and along the young boy’s jacket and pants. The young girl is holding a basket of flowers while the young courting boy to her right appears to be giving her more… The condition of this piece is very very good – I can see only two very minute chips to applied florals at the end of the log, left of the little girl. There are a few other wear marks to the painted enamel but impossible to notice unless you’re strongly suspecting it for quiet awhile – like I was. Measurements: 5 3/8”h x 4 1/8”w and is 2 3/8”deep (at the deepest point).
