	Well I simply cannot believe that I have the opportunity to offer this original Thomas Alva Edison Bulb. A small envelope attached to the bulb written in script reads “Presented by Thomas A Edison Oct 21st 1879 one of his finest successful lamps ,see his letter” The only unfortunate part is that the envelope is empty. I acquired this bulb/lamp at a small estate auction here in Rockland Maine. The only known examples that I can find are in Science Museums .This is a rare & exciting bit of history here.
