Ultra Funky 70's Men's Polyester Leisure 3 Pc Suit * Plaid Trim

I waited an entire auction to buy this suit!  It is fashion moments such as this that keep me happy and humble....too much Poiret or Haute this or that and I confess I need a break.  I love to find pieces that define a period, or are noteworthy (and sometimes not for good taste reasons).  Such is the story of this vintage 1970's very seriously polyester Men's 3 piece suit.  This is so polyester, that it will probably survive most landfills.

**Sort of country style....not really a leisure suit.  But definitely noteworthy.  The suit is navy blue...and a textured weave polyester.  It is actually very well made.  It consists of a jacket, vest and pants.  They are all trimmed with the red plaid woven trim, and have red top stitching.  The jacket is partially lined in red, and the vest has red backing.   The jacket and vest have their original red plastic buttons.  The pants have no pleats.

**This is truly an exceptional buy because it is completely unique, and a fun reminder of this memorable period in men's fashion.

C O N D I T I O N:  Jacket and Vest Excellent condition.  Pants have some minor issues that are not really noticeable.  Mostly that they were hemmed and then let down so there is a blemish or two where the old hem was.   Also let out in rear, but put back again.

S I Z E: 

JACKET:  Length 31", Chest area approx 40", sleeve length: 25"

VEST:  Chest: 40", length approx 25"

PANTS:  Waist: 34", Inseam: 33" (there is some fabric at hem)
