Vintage 50's Babydoll Nightgown * Dress * Great Look

Fun sexy vintage black nylon Nightgown, slip...or dress.  This is probably from the 1960's, although I am not really certain of its age.  Great details and a great look.  Lingerie has always been used as "regular clothing"...hence the Lingerie dresses from the Art Deco period (to name one instance).  Inspired by the unstructured beauty, and lightweight silky fabrics of true lingerie.

**The style is drop waist, with a soft slightly poofy skirt.  The bodice was created with knife pleated sheer nylon.  It features lace trim and straps.  The lace is also featured as a ruffle around the hem, and as vertical insets in the skirt.

**This would make a great dress as well as a nightgown, or slip.
