Vintage Cartier Sapphire Cabochon Black Leather Handbag

An understated elegance is this dark navy leather Cartier elongated should evening or day purse or satchel and as slender as a rolled newspaper, unusual, streamlined design with gilt clasp and a jeweler's touch having a blue sapphire cabochon, polished by hand and wheel producing a fascinating shimmer of light. Top slides up and down from the double sturdy adjustable shoulder strap with gilt CC logo to each side and mostly designed for after dark but perfectly appropriate for day use. Blue Jacquard interior lining embossed with the double C logo.

Condition: Very nice condition and flat internal pocket the with the zipper in pristine condition with no stains or damage at all. Gilt brass metallic parts all in perfect untouched condition, as though never used and still with their protective plastic covers. Some scuffs (all minor) to the leather on the back. There is no dust bag or box, only the exterior white box came with the purse and the Cartier quality control card within. A soft, (very soft) and fine leather but feels sturdy and these are the Classic, forever bags that withstand the test of time! Perfect craftsmanship and undisputed elegance by Cartier.
