The leather is in excellent used/vintage condition. There are no noticeable scratches, no holes. There are no loose stitches. The gold plating on the chains and the gold CC hardware is in excellent condition. There is no flaking, cracking or fading of the plating. All of the hardware is in great shape. The interior is marked "CHANEL®" and "MADE IN Italy". No odor.
