	Wwi Trench Art Vase Collectibles: Bronzes: Brass Cylinder Vase
	Circa 1915. World War I "Trench Art" vase. Named for the crafts made by soldiers in the trenches during WWI, out of the materials at hand, in this case a large caliber shell casing. Skillfully fashioned flowers, with an "Aesthetic Movement" feel work exceptionally well with the cast brass cylinder form of the shell. Very nicely finished with a crimped top, it is hard to believe this lovely vase was ever a weapon. 11 1/8" high x 3 1/2" diameter. Price $ 195.00
